Automation Programmer

Position

The automation programmer programs controls according to sequences established by the engineering department and works closely with start-up technicians to adapt programming to worksites. They also test and configure new technologies from our manufacturer, Distech Controls. Designing innovative strategies is key to our success!

Responsabilities

  • Programming digital controls
  • Programming network operations and integration platforms
  • Configuring and commissioning communication networks with commissioning technicians
  • Working with commissioning technicians on systems start-ups
  • Finalizing schedules based on site data
  • Finalizing graphical interface assemblies as required

Requirement

  • IT, electrical engineering, industrial electronics, or building mechanics technician or engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in buildings-adapted controls programming
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability, good judgment, and autonomy
  • Functional English
