Position
Working with a team of experienced project managers and coordinators, project managers are responsible for managing HVAC control and technology integration projects in existing commercial buildings and new builds. They ensure projects run smoothly, coordinate the various people involved, and oversee budgets, schedules, equipment orders, and client satisfaction. They work with different multidisciplinary teams depending on the type of project (programmers, electricians, technicians, etc.).
Responsabilities
- Understanding service offerings and specific mandates
- Interpreting plans, specifications and in-house shop drawings
- Planning the work of the project team and other specialists involved
- Forming, leading, and motivating project teams
- Proactively monitoring project costs, quality, and deadlines
- Ensuring smooth and straightforward client communication to project completion
- Managing conflict when necessary
Requirement
- DEC or bachelor's degree in building mechanics or equivalent
- At least 3 to 5 years' experience as a project manager or other relevant position in the construction industry
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good team player
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Good ability to prioritize
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptability, judgment, and autonomy
- Excellent oral and written French, functional English
