Maintaining and enhancing the performance of a building or or real estate portfolio requires rigorous cost management and continuous system optimization. Energy consumption represents a significant operational expense and underperforming or poorly configured HVAC systems can lead to substantial and avoidable energy waste.
ACCS positions itself as a strategic partner in operational and energy optimization. By combining expertise in building automation (building management and automation systems) with energy efficiency, we deliver solutions that act directly on system control and energy consumption.
“At ACCS, we are strengthening our energy services and our ability to monitor building performance in real time. I am proud to see our Energy team grow and join forces with our Control specialists. Together, we offer our clients a winning formula that supports the operational, energy, and financial performance of their buildings—today and for the long term.” — Simon Fournier, President of ACCS.
To maximize HVAC system efficiency and generate energy savings, we offer a range of tailored services:
An Experienced Energy Team
We are proud to introduce the key individuals dedicated to unlocking the full energy potential of our clients’ buildings.
With approximately fifteen years of experience in energy efficiency, Percy Cruz conducts the technical and financial evaluation of energy efficiency measures, identifying required investments, projected savings, and available incentives. He also develops Measurement and Verification (M&V) plans to ensure post-implementation tracking and validation of savings.
With more than two decades of experience, Dinah Laporte specializes in optimizing the energy efficiency of building mechanical systems. She oversees detailed design alongside the project designer and manages technical implementation, ensuring the quality of control sequences. She ensures projected energy savings are realized and conducts post-project qualitative follow-up to identify and correct any performance drift.
Corinne is responsible for structuring and deploying Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx) for large-scale projects. She also specializes in Peak Demand Management (PDM), overseeing projects from design through implementation and performance monitoring of demand response events. For the past five years, she has actively promoted ACCS’s energy vision and ESG strategy across technical teams and contributes to the company’s visibility within the industry.
With over 12 years of experience as a commissioning technician and foreman, Antoine Deshaies is responsible for maintaining the performance of buildings managed by ACCS. He plays a key role in continuous monitoring, proactively identifying opportunities to improve occupant comfort, equipment health, and energy consumption.
With more than 25 years of experience, Yanik Caissy-Cyr brings deep expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of HVAC systems, particularly chilled water, heating, steam, and geothermal networks. He serves as the architect of BMS (Building Management System) software solutions and develops dashboards to support energy services. He is recognized for his expertise in energy load shedding optimization and complex systems integration.
Drawing on his background in energy efficiency and leadership of large-scale projects prior to becoming President of ACCS in 2018, Simon Fournier acts as the catalyst for ACCS’s energy vision across the organization. He ensures that proposed solutions reflect ACCS’s long-term commitment to energy performance.
Our energy efficiency specialists work in close collaboration with our building controls experts. This integrated approach is at the core of our methodology and ensures sustainable, long-term energy performance.
