The modernization of the building management systems at YUL and YMX is a strategic, large-scale initiative. ADM – Aéroports de Montréal aimed to enhance operational responsiveness, automate infrastructure, and optimize energy management. 

Following a rigorous assessment of requirements and a demanding RFP process — including a live test bench —ACCS was selected to integrate the Tridium Niagara platform — an open and scalable solution that ensures compatibility, security, and high performance. 

This project centralizes all HVAC systems data, while integrating existing controllers and other essential systems such as lighting, the electrical power management system (SCADA), and passenger boarding bridges. 

The new platform also supports future integrations, including baggage carousels, escalators, elevators, automatic doors, electrical meters, EV charging stations, and more.
